What is "fine art school portraiture?"

In short, it is a modern and more personalized approach to school portraits. Beautiful lighting, simple, solid backgrounds in black or dark gray, and no forced grins. Children are encouraged to be themselves so I can capture their true personalities, and are never made to smile if they don't want to. Instead of the traditional "cheesy" school photos that we have become accustomed to, It is classic, simple portraiture that stands the test of time. Children can also be photographed with their siblings.

My goal is to provide families and students with a boutique-style portrait experience that feels special and unique.

Unlike large corporate photography operations, I only work with a few schools so that I can focus on great customer service and artistic images.

My pricing for prints and products is competitive, and nothing is due up front. All profits are made from print and produts ordered. I offer a vairety of collections and a la carte products to fit everyone's needs.

I also donate 10% of gross profits to the schools that I photograph.

Pricing + Fees

I provide a completely online experience. Families will receive a password-protected online ordering gallery that is organized by grade, teacher, homeroom, or whatever grouping makes the most sense for the school.

Each child will receive 2-5 images in color and black and white. The families will be able to choose and purchase as many of their favorites as they like. Photographic prints, canvas wraps, digital images and other products are available to purchase. A detailed PDF outlining ordering and picture day procedures will be provided to the school to pass out to parents before picture day.

Pictures are ordered online and delivered directly to the school 4-6 weeks following picture day.

Schools receive a complete copy of the digital files to be used for yearbooks, school IDs, websites, etc. Staff and class photos can also be arranged, depending on the school's preference or needs.

Service and ordering questions from parents are handled by me.

I work with schools to schedule shoots during any time of the academic year.
